Prices are extremely reasonable ~ large portions!! Our appetizer "The Trio" was the bomb & would go back if ever in the area just for that , it definitely could be a shared as a meal all in itself.... It was NorthSide nachos, sampling of chicken dillas, & their famous gimongous fried cheese sticks. A stop on my way for business and a good stop at that. The catfish didn't have too much breading and the batter was delicious! Wish it had more than two hushpuppies cause those were very tasty as well. The catfish was also plump and meaty. The sides were okay, but its all good so as not to take away from the deliciousness of the main course.
I usually do not leave a review unless it is something super special or if I would like for people to be aware of something. This time unfortunately nothing special happened except a shift Manger of the restaurant asked me to leave the dog outside or for me to leave with the dog, but the dog has to leave. Initially, the manager asked to place the dog under the table, then on the sit and finally she asked us to leave. Went here numerous times on my last vist in May 2024, good beet selection, great taco specials, and huge portions of food. Staff was always nice and courteous.
The food was fresh and ready on time for our take out order.
