To start I will say I have never had any interaction with this hospital before all this. I was referred by my neurologist who is in a private office. On day of my MRI, the staff WAS helpful, kind, and professional. Fast forward my neurologist notified me that the radiologist, idk which one, read the MRI as perfect but the images didn't verify that. 2 Drs visits at $75 a copay a visit later I find out the radiologist didn't even read my MRI before signing off on it. I wanted to leave a shoutout to Nurse Connie that was working the ER last Friday (6/19) evening. My mom went in after suffering with (undisclosed issues) and Ms. Connie was absolutely THE BEST NURSE I've ever encountered. Not only was she thorough with interviewing and explaining corrective courses to resolve the issue at hand, she was very personable and real with both of us. CCMH, you need more staff like Ms. Connie and I hope you keep her on staff for a very long time!

I have visited several emergency rooms over the past 10 ears due to chronic pain my home health nurse suggested I have my husband drive me 40 minutes away to the ER at Clay County Memorial. I waited until the next day. The pain became unreal. I had the best ER experience I believe I have ever encountered! Dr Davenport and the nurses we're absolutely incredible! Doctor genuinely cared about me and did all he could do to help alleviate my pain. He even called my neurosurgeon to obtain more info. X-ray and lab results we're alm... read more

Absolutely dreadful. I left this hospital sicker than when I arrived. They were not only inept and negligent, they were hateful. I left after 3 days still very sick and now depressed.

The ER Dr was good and the nurses were good, but after being admitted the care went to hell. The only " Dr " I saw was a contracted nurse practitioner. Because of this nurse practitioner I had to have a toe amputated. I told her numerous times something wasn't right. She was very unprofessional and had a nasty attitude problem. She acted like I was stupid and wanted drugs. What I wanted is to find out why I was hurting from my foot to my groin.
